The JJC LH-XF1545II BLACK Lens Hood consists of an adapter ring (Ф52mm) and a petal-style lens hood. The lens hood is designed to prevent unwanted stray light from entering the lens by extending and shading the end. It has a non-glare matte finish inside to avoid further lens flare. It won't cause any vignetting when attached. Additionally, the hood can be reversed over the lens for more compact storage. It allows for using a Ф52mm filter and Ф52mm lens cap. The extended lens end also provides extra protection from accidental impact.
