JJC MSG-PM2C BLACK Magnetic Grip & Filter Kit is compatible with iPhon. 17 Pro Max / 16 Pro Max / 15 Pro Max / 14 Pro Max. The complete kit centers on a magnetic grip, a magnetic filter adapter ring, and a CPL filter, giving smartphone photography a camera-like, stable holding experience while enabling the use of camera filters to achieve professional-level shooting results.
The magnetic filter adapter ring features a main body made of premium ABS for strength and durability. The threaded section is constructed from aluminum alloy and supports 67mm camera filters. The lens-contact area is wrapped in soft silicone to prevent scratches while reducing light leakage and glare.
The grip adopts a DSLR-style handle design, wrapped in anti-slip silicone to provide a secure and comfortable hold, effectively reducing shake during shooting or video recording. It can also be unfolded for use as a phone stand, supporting both landscape and portrait orientations without obstructing the phone’s side buttons. The magnetic plate features a dual-sided magnetic design. The front side securely attaches to the phone, allowing easy switching between landscape and portrait shooting while maintaining full access to the side buttons. The rear side not only magnetically attaches to the included Magnetic Filter Adapter Ring, but also supports accessories such as a magnetic fill light, magnetic selfie mirror, and magnetic makeup mirror, offering flexible expansion options. The magnetic plate is built with 16 powerful magnets to ensure a stable and secure attachment. A large silicone-covered contact area between the grip and the phone helps prevent scratches during long-term use. The bottom of the grip is equipped with a standard 1/4"-20 threaded hole for tripod mounting and a lanyard hole for use with the included wrist strap, making it more convenient to carry outdoors.
It also comes with a detachable magnetic wireless remote control, allowing photo and video capture without touching the phone. The remote is compatible with both iOS and Android systems, connects without requiring an app, and offers a maximum control distance of up to 10 meters. The built-in battery can be recharged via the included 50cm Type-C cable, with a red indicator showing charging and a blue indicator indicating a full charge. The wireless remote can be magnetically stored in its dedicated slot on the grip, keeping it securely in place and easy to access.
The CPL filter is made of Japanese optical glass with a thickness of only 1.5mm, ensuring clear imaging quality. It features high-definition polarizing film from Nitto, Japan, with a polarization rate of 99.8% or higher. The frame is crafted from 4.6mm thick precision-milled premium aluminum alloy, offering enhanced wear and corrosion resistance for longer durability. When used with wide-angle or telephoto lenses, it remains lightweight and thin without causing vignetting. The filter is coated on both sides with a total of 12 layers (6+6), which not only reduces glare but also effectively minimizes reflections from the ground and the filter itself, with a reflectance of less than 0.37%. This CPL filter can eliminate stray light and reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water and glass, restoring the true texture of subjects, improving image clarity, enhancing color saturation, and increasing contrast between blue skies and white clouds, all without affecting the overall color balance of the photograph. The polarization effect can be adjusted by rotating the filter ring.
The set comes with an anti-loss strap, a filter storage pouch, a microfiber cleaning cloth, a lens cap, and a EVA storage case, providing convenient daily portability and protection, making the entire system both professional and practical.
